Animation
Confrontation 1.0
Schoolassignment, 2011.
I worked together with a classmate called Hanna.
The theme was 'Confrontation' and we could make anything we wanted. We thought about emotions and how to give this its abstract form. This animation was a test using our intuition.
Music is 'Cobrastyle' by Robyn.
Confrontation 2.0
Schoolassignment, 2011.
This is our final animation about confrontation, made by Hanna Wolff and me.
Music is 'Seventeen Years' by Ratatat.
Jellyfish made of wire 1.0
I took an extra course called animation in my first year of Minerva Academy, 2011. The assignment was to experiment with movement using stopmotion animation. I wanted to connect the movement to a special material, in this case, blue wire.
Jellyfish made of wire 2.0
This video is about the same experiment (2011), but is longer then the first one. How to move multiple jellyfish at the same time, with the right speed.
Adam and Eve, day of sin
I also took an extra course called new media (2012), where I've made this animation about Adam and Eve on the day of their sin. Actually, it's my first claymation! It was a lot fof hard work and struggling with the clay, but also a lot of fun! I've learned a lot. I wanted to keep it simple, and I tried to put some humor in it as well.
Synesthesia (Video in Dutch)
Schoolassignment, 2013.
"Make an animation that is like an infographic. Choose a subject that can only be drawn by hand or computer. Something abstract, like an illness or a definition (for example: the monarchy, or genetics or even about XTC)"
My video is about synesthesia; a neurological disorder that mixes up your senses.
A very interesting disorder. I don't have it myself. I've used ecoline on paper to make a stopmotion animation.
